6.3 Option «Reaction to obstacle detection» (rising over an obstacle activated by default)
When moving down the tubular motor may react to obstacle detection in the following way:
- rising over an obstacle;
- full lifting of a curtain;
- halt of curtain movement.

after the last one 3 shorts beeps follow, and the device will make either 1 short reverse movement (
halt of curtain

), or 2 short reverse movements (
rising over an obstacle
), or 3 short reverse movements (
full lifting of a curtain
).
When using an electric motor of AM1/RS series with a roller shutter curtain with openings (windows)
where the core of more than 5mm in diameter can penetrate, it is not allowed to activate the option of
reaction to obstacle detection to as "full lifting" see section 6.3, in order to avoid uncontrollable lifting
of objects, people and animals.

OPERATION
The operation of a roller shutter with a wired pulse switch is carried out in a step by step mode as follows Open-Stop-
Close-Stop-

The corresponding keys of a remote control (see fig.2) refer to Open, Stop, Close commands to the roller shutter system.
To quickly set a curtain into the intermediate position, press and hold «

» key for 5 sec
onds.
PROHIBITION! Children and individuals with reduced emotional and/or mental abilities as well as
individuals with significantly reduced physical abilities should refrain from using tubular motors for
safety reasons. The use of tubular motors is prohibited for individuals who do not have relevant user
experience, skills and/or technical knowledge, if not allowed following appropriate technical guidance and health
and safety recommendations of a qualified person responsible for the security of the above-mentioned
individuals, or under full control of authorized guardians.
Keep children away from tubular motor and relevant control devices and electric appliances at all times to avoid injuries and
damages.
Avoid any moisture on your tubular motor for safety reasons.
Unplug your tubular motor and disconnect it from all power supplies before mounting, repairs, service, cleanup, window
cleaning, etc.
PROHIBITION! It is strictly prohibited to use power cables with damaged isolation. Due to critical danger
of damaged power cables, only the producer, service provider or another qualified specialist should
replace damaged cables.
Before activating the roller shutter system, make sure the system and its surroundings are free from all obstacles, and no people
remain under the curtain or around operation zone of the shutter. Before operating the system, make sure you can keep visual
control of the whole roller shutter and its surroundings at all times. Do not let people into operation area until complete
shutdown of the roller shutter system. Do not touch moving parts of the roller shutter!
