For checking the battery
capacity the brushing
vacuum cleaner is
provided with a green
and a red control lamp.

Control lamp green =
key-operated switch is in
position ‘I’. Battery
capacity is sufficient.
Red control lamp
flashing = residual
capacity of about 25 %
has been reached. After
3 min. the motor is
switched off automati-
cally.
ENGINE OPERATION
KSP 770 /970:
Before work on the
machine: switch off
key-operated switch
and remove key!
•
Screw off the cap of
the fuel filler nozzle.

Fill up with 2-star
petrol, unleaded,
max. 2.5 l.
•
Check oil level, if
necessary top up oil
(Note ADD and FULL
marks on the oil
dipstick). Above 4 C
single-grade engine
oil SAE 30, e.g. Mobil
Delavac 1230.
•
The oil level must not
fall below the ADD
mark.

WAY OF WORKING
The side brush sweeps
the dirt out of the
corners into the track of
the brush roller. This
conveys the dirt into the
dirt tank. The fine dust is
extracted by the suction
fan and separated by the
filter. Dust-free air leaves
the machine.

The first travel attempts
should be carried out on
an open space until the
individual operating
elements and their
functions are exactly
known.
SWEEPING DRY
SUBSTANCES
When sweeping dry
substances open the
suction fan damper.
•
Put the rotary button
in the ‘I’ position.

Inflammable and
health-hazard sub-
stances must not be
swept up.
WET SWEEPING
During the sweeping of
wet material to be
vacuumed, close the
suction fan damper.
