Close unit.
Remove top protection
layer of both adhesive strips.
Place the wooden cover
over the top cover with
adhesive strips.
Align the wooden cover so that
the space around the wooden
cover is symmetrical. If the space
is not equal from first try, peel
the wooden cover off and try
again, untill it is aligned perfectly.
Once the wooden cover is aligned
push on it so that the unit opens,
pick-up the wooden cover along
with the stuck top cover plate and
mount both parts together. Pre-drill
pilot holes 4 times in the hole
locations for a #6 wood screw:
softwood Ø1/16",
hardwood Ø5/64"
The pilot holes should be
approx. .375" deep.
Use provided 1/2" screws to
mount the wooden cover to
the top cover panel. Then make
sure the unit is up and secure the
top cover to the unit using
under-cut screws provided
by Altinex.
