ELECTRICAL CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
The battery and alternator are each controlled by one switch. These switches are located on the
flight deck’s left-hand side - next to the emergency gear lever.

The master switch controls only the battery.
The switch ALT controls the alternator.
When the alternator is not working, a red annunciator will illuminate above the radios:

With the alternator out, the battery’s charge will be depleted after approximately 15 minutes.
Battery charge is indicated by a voltmeter (under the DME):
