Connection Setup Operation

icon on the Home screen.
The Setup main screen is displayed.

The Connection Setup screen appears.

Select the desired item and change the setting.

If the Bluetooth setting is “Off”, “Bluetooth Device List” setting item
is not available.
Connecting a BLUETOOTH Device
You can connect, disconnect, add or delete the Bluetooth compatible
device on the Bluetooth Device List screen.
Connecting a new Bluetooth Device

A message pops up “Search for “Alpine receiver” on your
mobile phone. BT Password: 0000”.

Search the Bluetooth Device from your mobile
phone and then select “Alpine receiver”.

BT Password will display on the unit, input the
password on your mobile phone to connect.
If the connection is successful, “Connected” will be
displayed.
•
When a Bluetooth Device is connected successfully, it will be stored
as a registered device automatically. You can register 6 devices but
only one device can be connected. If all 6 devices have been
registered, you cannot register a 7th device. To register another
device, you need to delete one of the 6 devices first.
•
When the connection is completed, the connected Bluetooth Device
will be displayed on the first line, and the
(Audio) and/or
(Phone) icon are highlighted.
•
When there is a connected Bluetooth Device currently, a message will
display if you touch [Add Device]. Touch [OK] to disconnect the
current device or touch [Cancel] to return to device list screen.
•
Depending on the mobile phone, the password may display on your
mobile phone directly. Check the password and accept the pair
request.
•
Depending on the Bluetooth version, the password displays on the
unit may be different.
•
The default Model Name of this unit is “Alpine receiver”. You can
change it according to your own preferences. For details, please refer
to “Displaying the Product Information” on page 23.
Connecting a registered BLUETOOTH Device
Select one of 6 BLUETOOTH compatible devices that you previously
registered.

Disconnecting a BLUETOOTH Device
You can disconnect the current connected BLUETOOTH Device.

Deleting a Registered BLUETOOTH Device from the list
You can delete the information of a previously connected
BLUETOOTH compatible device.

Connection Setup
The following steps 1 to 4 are common operations to each
“Setting item” of Connection Setup. Refer to each section for
details.

BLUETOOTH function is not used.
On:
Select when you would like to pair your BLUETOOTH
compatible phone with this unit.
