Opening Message ON/OFF Setting
You can select whether the opening display is shown or
not when power is turned ON. Choose between the
standard display pattern and the downloaded profile
data display pattern.
This function is only available if you have already
downloaded the profile data.

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 3
seconds.

Press the

DN or
f
UP button to select the
OPENING MESSAGE mode.

Press the BAND button to toggle the mode between
OFF and ON.
OFF mode: This shows the standard display pattern.
ON mode:
This shows the downloaded Profile data.
NOTES
•
When selecting a mode with the BAND button, the display
pattern is immediately shown. When OFF mode is selected,
nothing is shown.
•
The initial setting at the factory is OFF mode.

Press the SETUP button to return to normal mode.
Switching the Animation Display type
You can select your favorite animation display from five
types of pattern 3 in “Switching the Display Modes.”

Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 3
seconds.

Press the g DN or f UP button to select
ANIMATION mode.

Press the BAND to select your preferred display type.

Press the SETUP button to return to normal mode.
NOTES
•
After you select pattern 3 in “Switching the Display Modes,”
the animation type you selected is shown.

The initial setting at the factory is OFF.

Setting the Digital Optical Output
When connecting to the Digital Audio Processor, set
the OPTICAL OUT mode to ON. Set to OFF when a
Digital Audio Processor is not connected. The digital
signal will be output when the CD mode is on.

Press the BAND button to toggle the mode between
OPTICAL OUT ON and OPTICAL OUT OFF.
