HINTS
1. Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the mains
socket and allow it to cool.

Stubborn build-up:
Use a non-metallic scrubbing pad to
clean the plates
3. Cleaning the exterior: Wipe with a warm, wet sponge and
dry with a soft, dry cloth.
4. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners
on any part of the appliance.
5. DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUID.
6. Any servicing that requires disassembly must be performed
by a qualified electrician.
7. In order to prevent accidental closing of the appliance and
resulting injury, make sure that you hold the top cover (lid)
with your hand while cleaning the appliance.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and allow it to cool down.
Never place the appliance in water or under running water.
To clean the exterior of the appliance, use a damp sponge and dry
it carefully afterwards.
To clean the plates, use a damp sponge with washing up liquid.
Rinse and dry them with care.
If there is any food matter stuck to the plate, it is advisable to soften
it with vegetable oil and wait 5 minutes before trying again to
remove it.
Never use a scouring pad or scouring powder on the appliance.
Storage
Wind the power cable around the appliance and store it vertically
to save space.
