SHOTDEFENDER™
The ShotDefender™ hangs on a tension cable about 6 inches in front of the screen. Any shots hit
toward the screen pole will be caught by the ShotDefender™, eliminating the risk of a ricochet.
Cable Assembly
The cable first needs to be assembled. See

Assembly. After cable assembly follow the steps below to install the cable on the enclosure.
Cable Installation
(1) Wrap the ShotDefender™ cable around the upper
depth poles, about 6” in front of the screen. Run both
sides of cabling above your center support strut.
(center strut only included with 16ft wide systems or
larger)
(2) Loosen the turnbuckle bolts as far as possible.
Attach the hook end of the turnbuckle to the open
end of the cable.
(3) Tighten the cable by twisting the turnbuckle,
creating tension on the cable.
Install Valance
(4) Attach ShotDefender to cabling. Wrap top edge
around cable and use the velcro to close the
ShotDefender around the cabling.
Note: A 16ft wide (or wider) system has a notch in
the valance for the center support strut. Customers
with a SkyRailPLUS will have two notches.
