Installing the Switch on a Table
You can operate the switch on a table or desktop. Refer to Figure 11.

The following guidelines are in addition to those in “Choosing a Site for the
Switch” on page 42:
 Do not stack switches on a table.
 Do not install the switch upside down on a table.
 Do not install the switch vertically on a table.

Warning
Switches should not be stacked on a table or desktop. They could
present a physical safety hazard if you need to move or replace
switches.

