DC Connector for an External AC/DC Power Adapter
The DC IN connector is for an external AC/DC power adapter, such as the
PWRADP-01 Power Adapter from Allied Telesis, shown in Figure 7.

You can power the wireless access point with either an external power
adapter on the DC IN connector or a PoE+ power source on the Ethernet
LAN port. You can also power it with both power sources. Refer to “How to
Power the Wireless Access Point” on page 28 and “Power Specifications”
on page 70.
Note
Use only power sources that are UL Listed (QQGQ or EPBU), TUV
Licensed, or other Safety Agencies approved, and that are suitable
for country of use.
