Wi-Fi connection and SD card Video Access
1. Connecting Hub’s Hotspot Wi-Fi network
The system needs to be in Active mode.

Android OS: Settings – WLAN – Wi-Fi list, select Wi-Fi SSID: MP-XXXXX, the default
Password is
12345678

iOS: Settings – Wi-Fi, select Wi-Fi SSID: MP-XXXXX, Password is 12345678
The default Wi-Fi SSID is defined per the above description. SSID and password can be
modified after the initial successful activation to the camera in smartphone application’s
setting menu. It is strongly recommended to modify the password to be a customized and
more complicated version.
User and passengers can also connect the Wi-Fi hotspot and surf the internet for
entertainment
2. Video Streaming, SD Card Video Playback via Local Wi-Fi
When the engine is running and the smart devices are inside or close to the vehicle, users can
use Wi-Fi local connection feature to connect to the device to browse and download the
recorded video.

Connection to local WiFi for the access to SD card data does not consume any cellular
carrier’s data plan or cloud storage.
The oldest video clips will be overwritten by the newest video clips when the SD card is full.
If the system su ff ers from serious damage with the power cut o ff before successfully
uploading video to the cloud storage, the camera and SD card back-up will keep working for 3-5
seconds after power interruption in order to finish the incident recording.
