8.
When you have finished looking at the EDS file, close the
Notepad window.
9.
Choose
OK
to return to the Module Configuration tab.
Configuring Power
Supplies, Cables, and
End Cap
Electronic keys for these devices are automatically set to Compatible.
No additional configuration is necessary.
Completing Configuration
After you’ve finished specifying the Series B adapter configuration and
the individual device configurations (I/O modules, power supplies,
cables, and end cap), choose Apply or OK to complete the offline
configuration.
Auditing the Configuration
When you choose Apply or OK, RSNetworx performs an audit on the
configuration. This audit consists of checking the requested
configuration against all of the Configuration Rules for Series B
Adapters, see page 4-6.
If the audit passes and you chose Apply, the offline configuration is
complete and you remain in the current screen. If the audit passes and
you chose OK, the offline configuration is complete and you return to
the main RSNetworx for DeviceNet screen. If the audit fails, you will
see an error describing the problems found. You’ll then need to return
to the appropriate configuration section and make your changes.
