3 Operation

Procedure
1. Remove screws from top linkage holder 1
2. Remove top linkage and separate from bottom linkage at bottom joint 4
3. Remove lock
4. After pre-assembly, proceed as described for the standard cabinet
When positioning the Server Cabinet Lock, insert the spigot of the offset linkage into the recess
provided:

The signaling is described in the sections Opening doors [ } 14] and Activating/deactivating the
permanently open mode.
Opening the door
1. Present the credential to the Server Cabinet Lock
2. Grip the rotary handle with one hand, and turn it steadily
The direction of rotation for opening the door is determined by the closing mechanism in the
cabinet. Carefully check in which direction there is no resistance.
3. Open the cabinet door
Locking the door
1. Close the door
2. Grip the rotary handle with one hand and turn it steadily until the position of the rotary handle is
exactly above the recess in the housing
3. Release the rotary handle and press it into the recessed grip with one finger without exerting force
until the rotary handle engages
If resistance suddenly occurs during this movement, the process of pressing must be interrupted
in order to check again whether the rotary handle is exactly above the recessed grip. If
necessary, readjust the rotary handle by slightly turning it.
All LEDs are off. The cabinet door is locked.
