User Access Level
This option is only enabled when the supervisor password is installed. Defines access of
users to the BIOS utility as follows:
No Access: Prevents user access to the setup utility
View Only:
Allows user to access the setup utility; fields cannot be changed
Limited:
Allows only limited fields to be changed such as Date and Time
Full Access: Grants full control to user access
Change User Password
Installs or changes the user password.
Clear User Password
Removes the user password
Password check
Determines when to check for password:
Setup:
Requests password when entering setup
Always:
Requests password on every boot
Boot Sector Virus Protection
Enables or disables the boot sector virus protection. When enabled, the system will give
a warning when an attempt is made to write into the boot sector or partition table.
[Options are: ‘Enabled’ and ‘Disabled’]
BIOS Write Protection
This option needs to be disabled in order to overwrite information on the system BIOS.
