PCI IDE BusMaster
When enabled the BIOS uses PCI busmastering foreading/writing to IDE devices. This
setting increases performance when running DOS programs such as Norton Ghost or
Partition Magic. Windows has its own IDE busmastering software, and is not affected by
changing this BIOS setting.
[Options are: ‘Enabled’ and ‘Disabled’]
Offboard PCI/ISA IDE Card
Some PCI IDE cards require this option to be set to the specific PCI slot that is holding
the card.
[Options are: ‘Auto’, ‘PCI Slot 1’, ‘PCI Slot 2’, ‘PCI Slot 3’, ‘PCI Slot 4’, ‘PCI Slot 5’, and
‘PCI Slot 6’]
IRQ 3-15
Indicates if the specific IRQ is either available or reserved for a PCI/PnP device.
[Options are: ‘Available’ and ‘Reserved’]
DMA Channel 0-7
Indicates if the specific DMA is either available or reserved for a PCI/PnP device.
[Options are: ‘Available’ and ‘Reserved’]
Reserved Memory Size
Size of the memory block to be reserved if legacy ISA devices are used.
[Options are: ‘Disabled’, ‘16’, ‘32’, and ‘64’]
