If the filter is too dirty the outlet pressure will decrease.
CLEANING THE FILTER
A dirty filter causes a larger than normal pressure drop, decreasing the outlet
pressure. A decreasing outlet pressure indicates the FILTAIRE has accumulated
significant amount of residue and must be cleaned to keep on operating properly.
In general, a FILTAIRE must be cleaned every 6 months. The frequency of
cleaning will greatly depend on the quality of LPG used as well as the application
it is used for.
CLEANING SCHEDULE:
Drainage and cleaning of the FILTAIRE is determined by use. Once it is noted
how often cleaning is necessary, a maintenance schedule can be established.
A maintenance form (Table 2) is provided to help you establish a schedule.
