ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
The ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU covers equipment and protective systems that will be used in areas endangered by potentially
explosive atmospheres created by the presence of flammable gases, vapours and dusts. Centrifugal pumps supplied with
an ATEX symbol are classified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres under ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU Group II,
Categories 2 and 3.
