3) The test will take approximately 80 seconds to complete. During the test, a progress bar will
pop up. If the test is successful, the LCD will display the following:
4) Rotate the encoder one click clockwise the change the test to the “External HD” test. The
LCD should display the following:
5) Plug the external SATA harddrive using the SATA cable to the External Drive jack on the
unit under test (make sure that External Drive is turned on if it has an external power supply).
6) Press “PLAY” to perform the test.
7) Like the internal drive test, it will take approximately 80 seconds to complete. If the test is
successful, the LCD will display the following:
The external SATA drive can be removed at this point.
NOTE: The Read, Write, and Thru-put numbers will vary from unit to unit on both the internal
and external harddrive tests.
