LED TEST
1) The diagnostic software automatically starts with the “All LEDs On” test. Verify that all LEDs
(including blue pitch and mod wheel LEDs) are indeed on. Note that this level of brightness
from the LEDs should be considered their ON state.
2) Turn the encoder wheel one click clockwise. The LCD should now read:
The diagnostic software will now turn on the Pitch Wheel LEDs and turn off or dim all the other
LEDs: blue Mod Wheel LEDs, “PLAY” LED, and “RECORD” LED will be off, and all other LEDs
will be dim. Verify that the blue Pitch Wheel LEDs are indeed on.
3) Turn the encoder wheel one click clockwise. The LCD should now read:
Verify that the blue Mod Wheel LEDs are on, and all other LEDs are either off or dim.
4) Continue turning the encoder wheel clockwise to advance through all the other LEDs. After
each turn, verify that the LED indicated by the display is turned on, and all others are off or
dim.
NOTE: You can always move the encoder wheel counterclockwise to go back to the previous
LED.
