Mount Positions

The reel can mount to either the floor, wall, or ceiling.

The selected mount position influences the position of

the Guide and Roller Assembly as it relates to the Base.

For example, when the reel mounts to the ceiling, the

Guide and Roller Assembly will always be parallel with
the Base. See Figure 5.

When a parallel alignment is dictated, the chosen slots

in the Sheave Assembly must correspond to this
configuration.

The Sheave Assembly contains four sets of slots.

Locate each U-Bolt in the appropriate slot dictated by the
alignment. See Figure 5.

Caution

Failure to follow the recommended slot selection
for the chosen alignment can result in reel lockup.

When the material hose is fully extended from the

Sheave Assembly and the proper slots are chosen, the
latching mechanism will not engage the ratchet. This
prevents reel lockup.

Ceiling Mount

IMPORTANT: It is mandatory that these
reels be ceiling mounted no higher than 16'
(4.9 m) from the floor. Should the existing
ceiling height be greater, mount the reel to a
suspension bracket. See Figure 6.
