3.4 Clock:
Introduction:
The WS-3400 is equipped with a built-in DCF receiver in the indoor unit. This receiver is used for receiving
the DCF time signal from Frankfurt. This signal ensures that the clock displays an extremely accurate time,
provided that the signal is being received properly.
Automatically:
As soon as you insert the batteries into the indoor unit, after 1 minute and during 5 minutes, the clock starts
searching for the DCF radio signal to set the time and date while the antenna symbol
flashes. After sev

eral seconds or minutes the WS-3400 shows the correct time. In extreme cases it may take longer than a
day until the DCF time is displayed. The best reception of the DCF signal occurs at night and it’s automati-
cally refreshed at: 2:00 am, 3:00 am, 4:00 am and 5:00 pm.
