6.6 BATTERY USAGE:
6.6.1 Parent Unit:
Fully charged NiMH batteries, with a capacity of 750mAh, can
supply the parent unit with power for between 12 to 15 hours
without needing the power adapter. The time depends on the
amount of usage (how often the baby cries switching the sound
of the parent unit on, talking into the monitor, level of the volume,
etc.).
Take note that the parent unit will also consume some power
while it is switched off. It is therefore advisable to leave the pa-
rent unit on the charger, even when you are not using the baby
monitor. This ensures that the batteries are fully charged when
you need to use the baby monitor.
The charging time needed to fully charge a NiMH battery with
the capacity of 750mAh, is approximately 12 hours.
6.6.2 Baby Unit:
The baby unit can operate between 12 to 15 hours when using 4
good quality alkaline batteries. The amount of time depends on
the amount of usage (if the baby unit comes on and off often, if
the eco-mode is put on or off, etc.).
6.7 EVIRONMENT:
The packaging of this baby monitor can be recycled as old
paper.
Should this product reach the end of its life cycle, do
not dispose of it into the normal household waste.
Rather take it to a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment.
