Trouble shooting

No Dial Tone
Check if the base unit is connected to the
Telephone line and ensure the line is functional.
Please check if your phone is set to TONE dialing
Set PULSE mode only for older type of phone
lines. Please check with your operator for
required setting
Not able to get through automated
phone services. Eg. Phone banking
Only can receive calls. Cannot make
outgoing calls.
Check if call barring is activated
Check if the connector of telephone line is moist.
The phone rings once then is
interrupted, but dialing function works
well.
Check if too many paralleled phones are used
together. Remove or replace some of them.
Noise during conversation
Check if the wall socket of telephone line is moist
or rusty. Replace accordingly.

Phone does not ring for incoming calls
Check if RINGER is OFF
Check if the rechargeable batteries are properly
charged
Handset has no display
Check if the charging contacts are clean in both
the handset and base.
Check and make sure the AC adaptor for the
base unit is ON and working
Check if the registration with base is lost. If so
register again with the base unit
“Base 1” blinks in handset
Check if you are out of range from the base unit.
Move closer to the base unit.
Caller ID does not appear
Check if you have subscribed for Caller ID service
and is active
