This chapter discusses the process of configuring the 8950 AAA remotely.

The Remote Configuration feature allows you to retrieve files from a remote server using 
the Configuration Server. 

Using the SMT to retrieve files from a remote server

This section describes how to configure a 8950 AAA to retrieve files from a remote server. 
This is typically used to have one centralized location for configuration files. You must 
specify which files are retrieved for every Policy Server.

For information about running the SMT, please refer to 

“Starting the Server Management 

Tool”
