Connect the other end directly into the Float Current connection on UXSM or UXCM depending on
which components are being used. See figure below for an illustration of the connector arrangement.

The sensor as shown below is a split core device and must be placed across the battery cable. There is
an arrow on the casing that indicates the direction that it needs to be installed. This arrow must always
point closest to the negative end of the battery.
Note
: If the sensor is not installed with the arrow in the correct direction (pointing towards the
negative end of the battery), float current will not display properly
.
