There is a power harness connector lock supplied with each harness. This lock must be installed after
installation to prevent inadvertent disconnect of the power.
When connecting the actual wires to the tab washers it is important to note that whenever a power
connection (heavier gauge black or red wire) is being made, it must be connected to the tab washer
closest to the battery post when more than one tab washer is used.
Note
: If the power leads are not connected correctly this could result in inaccurate resistance
readings of the cell that these leads are connected to. Power leads must always be the closest
connection to the battery post. The illustrations to follow only indicate a black or red power lead,
combined resistance readings with no cell temperatures.
Installing a combined reading system utilizes a harness with part number 1102-190. This type of harness
will provide a combined resistance reading of the cell and the adjacent connecting strap as one value.
