DAT3000C01
In the LOCKED box:
AES/EBU,
CCVS,
W.CLOCK:
Blue. These are the reference input indicator LEDs. Each one corresponds
to one of the three possible sync source inputs of the DAT3000C01, and
they have two brightness levels. They light up at low brightness to
indicate that a signal is present and then light up with full brightness to
indicate that the corresponding input has been selected. If an external
reference is detected but is not valid due to lack of sufficient level or an
incorrect frequency then the corresponding LED will blink.
In the two central boxes on the left:
AES1,
AES2,
44.1kHz,
48.0kHz,
96.0kHz:
Green. These are the signal presence indicators for the inputs. The most
common frequencies 44.1, 48 and 96kHz have their own dedicated LEDs.
If signals with other frequencies are received then the AES1 or AES2 LEDs
light up. The frequency of the input signal is outside of the range of 32 to
96kHz then all LEDs remain off. These LEDs indicate the sampling
frequency at which the stream is being received, not the true sampling
frequency of the audio contained in the stream. Therefore, when a signal
is received at twice a given sampling frequency, for example at 192kHz,
then the LED for 96kHz lights up.
In the center box on the right:
1250ms,
1000ms,
750ms,
500ms,
250ms,
0ms,
AES1,
AES2:
Green. These LEDs are the same as the previous eight and are used
together with the pushbuttons in the lower half of the panel to check and
adjust the delay of each stream.
In the lower half:
SELECT:
Pushbutton. Brief presses of this button change the function of the eight
LED previously described in order to check the delay value being
introduced by the module for each stream. A single press turns on the
AES1 LED and displays the delay value for Stream 1. A second press turns
on the AES2 LED and displays the delay value for Stream 2, and a third
press returns the LEDs to their initial state, where they indicate the
presence of signal at the inputs. If the pushbutton is pressed and held for
