Dealer Set-up Instructions
Assembly of this implement is the responsibility of the Bush Hog dealer. The Pulverizer should be delivered to
the owner completely assembled. Set up Pulverizer as received from the factory with these instructions. Open
parts box and lay parts out to make location easy. Refer to the parts lists and exploded view drawings for more
detail. This implement is shipped partially assembled. Assembly will be easier if components are aligned and
loosely assembled before tightening hardware.
Always use personal protection devices such as eye, ear and feet protectors during
assembly.
Attaching Pulverizer to Tractor
The pulverizer should be placed on level ground.
Place the tractor rockshaft control in ‘position control’ (non-floating) for attaching and detaching the rear
mounted pulverizer. ‘Draft control’ or ‘position control’ can be used while operating.
Back the tractor until the ends of the lift arms can be attached to the lift points on the implement. Secure the lift
arms to the mast.
Attach the center link to the top of the mast and adjust so that the implement frame will be level in the operating
position.
