Filling the pump
CAUTION!
Before putting your domestic water sys-
tem into operation, you must fill the pump
chamber with water until it overflows to
achieve full suction power. Do not ope-
rate the pump while it is dry because this
will cause serious damage to the pump.
1. Remove the filler screw (10).
2. Pour water into the opening until the chamber
of the pump (5) is full.
3. Replace the filler screw (10) and tighten it.
ADVICE
The pump cannot be filled via hydrocon-
trol, since a non-return valve is installed
towards the pump.
Switching on the system
ADVICE
During the first operation the pump au-
tomatically switches off after approx. 10
sec. Afterwards the button "RESET“(28)
must be pressed so long until the pump
delivers water. If the button "RESET" is
released before the pump delivers wa-
ter, the pump switches off automatically
due to safety reasons. Should the suc-
tion process last longer than 2 min. refill
the pump and suction hose once again,
check screw connections for tightness
and repeat the process.
1. Open the pressure line (open valve, sprayer,
tap, etc.).
2. Plug the electric cable into the socket. The
pump will automatically begin to run.
3. As soon as the flow of water is cleared of air
bubbles trapped in the line, close the pressure
line. When the pressure has fallen and the re-
servoir is full, the pump will automatically in
approx. 15 sec. switch off. Your domestic wa-
ter system is now ready for operation.
Switching off the Pump
1. To switch off the pump, just pull the plug of
the electric cable from the socket.
Operating the system
Put the system into operation as described above
(Setting up and operating the system). The do-
mestic water system is electronically controlled
and works automatically after the initial operation.
Manual restart
ADVICE
After malfunction or when no water is
delivered during the initial operation, the
pump must be started manually.
1. Check the suction side of the system and wa-
ter level.
2. Start the pump by pressing the button
"RESET“ (28).
3. When water is not delivered after several un-
successful trials, check the screw connec-
tions for tightness and refill the pump.
4. With regard to WHA 1300 F check for the cor-
rect seat of the transparent cover (9) of the
filter.
Operating state indicators
The states of operation are with the help of
warning lights (LED).
Warning light "Power" (25)
Shows whether or not the system is connected to
the mains.
Warning light "Failure" (26)
Shows that a fault has occurred.
Warning light "On" (27)
Shows that the pump is in operation.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
CAUTION!
Before beginning any maintenance or
cleaning work, make sure that the pump
has been unplugged and take precauti-
ons to ensure that it cannot be switched
on during work!
Cleaning the system
If you have used your domestic water system to
pump chlorine water (swimming pool water) or li-
quids which leave a residue, flush your pump out
with clear water after use.
Cleaning the filter (only HWA 1300 F)
CAUTION!
The seal (23) must be correctly inser-
ted in the seal seat on the pump head
(see Detail in Fig. D). If necessary lightly
grease the seal with non-acidic fat.
