Basic  operation

1.  Turn  ON  and  OFF  the  DVD  function

-  Turn  on  the  LCD  TV  and  then  press 

INPUT

  repeatedly  to  select  DVD  mode.

2.  Inserting  DVD  disc

 

 

 

3.  Play  the  DVD

-  According  to  the  disc  content,  the  disc  menu  will  display  for  your  selection.  When  playing  the  disc,  you  may  use              button 
    to  toggle  between  Play  and  Pause  mode.  This  product  also  supports  Menu,  Title,  Sequential  and  Program  playback.

. Brightness

 : Adjusts the brightness of 

the picture, the image becomes brighter 
as the number increases. 
2. 

Contrast

 : Adjusts the contrast of the 

picture, the image increases in contrast
as the number increases. 
3. 

Colour.

 Adjusts the colour saturation. 

4. 

Sharpness :

 Adjusts the level of detail 

enhancement. ( Not available in DVD 
mode).  

Tuning Menu. 

1. Channel :

 Displays the current channel and 

select using the 

/

 buttons. 

3. System :

 This sets the “Sound standard” of 

the country you are in. The TV is “defaulted” to 
“I”. Other systems available are :- B/G “western 
Europe”, D/K “eastern Europe”. To change use 
the 

/

 buttons. 

4. Skip :

 Select the channel you want to skip as 

in (1). Select “Skip” and then turn “on or off” 
using the 

/

 buttons.  When “on” a channel is 

skipped, using the CH+/CH- buttons, however 
the station can still be selected using the 
numeric buttons. 

5. AFC :

 “Auto frequency control”. Leave turned 

“ON” It will “auto turn off” when tuning.  

6. Fine Tune

 : In unusual circumstances the 

sound or picture may be improved. Turn the 
AFC “off” to adjust Fine tune. 

7.SWAP

 : When “Auto Searching” the stations 

should be placed into the correct locations 
automatically, eg :- BBC1, BBC2, ITV,CH4, 
CH5. In certain circumstances this may not 
happen. To “swap” locations, select SWAP then 
press 

. Select “From” and use the  

/

 

buttons to select the number you wish to move 
from. Select “To” with the 

/

, and use the  

/

 buttons to select the number you wish to 

move to. Select “SWAP” and press 

. The 

station will now move to the new location. The 
station in the “To” location, will now move to the 
“From” location (swap).  If all the stations need 
re locating, start with the “lowest To” number, 
locate BBC1 in the “From” section. Select “To” 
and adjust to “1”, with the 

/

 buttons. Select 

“Swap” and press 

. Press 

 again to return to 

the Swap menu. Continue until all stations are 
in the correct order. 

8. Manual Search :

  In certain circumstances 

a station may be missed in “Auto Search”, or 

another station may need to be added.  
Select “Channel” and “input” the location 
number required. Select “Manual Search” and 
press 

. You will be asked to chose “Up” or 

“Down”. Use the 

/

 to select and press 

“Enter”. The Tv will now start to search. When 
the Tv finds a station it will stop, if this is the 
correct one, let the menu “time out” and the 
station will be stored. If it not the correct 
station press the Up/Down selection again 
and continue until the correct station is found. 

9. Auto Search :

 Select “Auto Search” and 

press 

. The Tv will now search the entire 

bands. When complete the Tv will display the 
station stored in location 1. Sometimes the Tv 
will store a poor station, in location 1, this is 
when the “Manual Search” will be needed. 

Insert the DVD/CD disc into the slot with the Label facing “AWAY” from you “shiny side forward”. The player will load the disc 
automatically. There will be an on screen notice indicating “CLOSE” and then “READ”.  After loading the disc content, the 
player will start playing automatically.  If there is already a disc inside the player, do NOT attempt to put another disc inside. 
Note :- With some discs, after loading the contents of the disc, you may need to press “Play” or select from the Disc menu. 
IMPORTANT :- Ensure the disc is loaded  correctly, with the shiny side facing forward. If playing a dual side disc, ensure the 
title you want to play is facing away from you..
