Glide
While playing a note, moving your thumb across the octave rollers (without rolling them) while
touching the glide plate on their right side to create a "glide" effect. This will smoothly and
continuously slide the pitch up or down—a technique known as
portamento
. Use the
Glide
tab
to determine how the glide plate works.
Legato Time:
Enable this to control
legato
time on an external synth module (i.e., using
EWI5000 in Controller Mode).

Release:
Use this slider to set the CC value the glide plate will send when you are barely
touching it.
•
Press:
Use this slider to set the CC value the glide plate will send when you are touching
it fully.
