In this example, the OG-3G-AMA is being used as a 4-channel embedder and
4-channel disembedder. Analog audio from audio inputs 1/2 and 3/4 are being
embedded into SDI channels 1/2 and 3/4, and embedded SDI audio channels 5/6
and 7/8 are being disembedded and output through analog audio outputs 5/6
and 7/8.
Under the Audio 1 tab, the Embed to control under Analog Audio Inputs shows
that Channels 1-8 have been selected for embedding the selected analog audio
inputs.
The Disembed from control Under Analog Audio Outputs shows that Channels
1-8 are selected for disembedding.
The Embed controls are turned on for channel pairs 1/2 and 3/4, and turned off
for channel pairs 5/6 and 7/8. When an Embed control is turned off, it changes the
function from embed to disembed.
The reporting panel on the left, under the Status tab, shows that analog
audio connectors 1/2 and 3/4 are configured as inputs and are being used for
embedding to SDI channels 1/2 and 3/4. Analog audio connectors 5/6 and 7/8 are
configured as outputs and are being used for carrying the disembedded audio
from channels 5/6 and 7/8 from the SDI signal.
