Not able to turn on
the radio.
Radio malfunction.
Radio auto turns off
while listening.

Exhausted batteries.
Replace the old batteries with
new ones.
Batteries installed incorrectly.
Re-install the batteries
according to the polarity marks.
POWER

This may be caused by
interference, and the computer

Weak frequency signal.

received in Japan.
FM frequency is 76~90MHz for

Turn the radio off and press and

select FM frequency range.
Poor AM reception
in USA.
USA uses 10kHz tuning step
for AM.
Turn off the radio, repeatedly
press and hold the [

button to select 10kHz.
When the alarm is
activated

only noise with the
broadcast.
Maybe you did not set the
proper radio alarm station.
Preset your alarm station
properly.
There is no broadcasting at
that radio station.
Make sure there is a radio
broadcast in your location.
You are in another area where
there is no radio station for
your preset frequency.
Or set the alarm by buzzer.
