FM STEREO & BANDWIDTH
FM/SW RECEPTION
While listening to FM stereo stations, press the [
ST.
] button. The “ ” indicator
will appear on the screen to activate the
STEREO
listening mode.
If the received FM transmission signal is too weak, deactivate the stereo function by
pressing the [
ST.
] button again.
Plug in the external wire antenna to the
FM & SW ANTENNA
jack of this radio, and
then hang its end outside the window for better reception of FM and SW.
Repeat pressing the [
AM
] or [
BW
] buttons to select your desired 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 kHz
bandwidth.
Wide band:
It has better audio fidelity when receiving strong signals or local stations.
Narrow band:
It is suitable to receive weak and long distant stations as narrow band is able to
limit the interference from adjacent strong signal and reduce background noise.

This unit can be used as an active speaker for laptop computers, MP3 and other small
audio players following below steps.
Auxiliary input function mode

Connect the audio cable to the
LINE IN
jack; the display will show a
“ ”
symbol confirming that the plug has been connected with the radio.
2.
Press the
POWER
button with the symbols
“ ”
flashing to play; then rotate
the
VOLUME
button to adjust the volume.
3.
Press the
POWER
button again to turn off the speaker of the radio.

Batteries must be inserted correctly in accordance with the polarity marks
to avoid damage to the radio.
2.
If the batteries haven’t been changed in a long time, the clock of the radio
will stop working. However, the pre-stored frequencies are still kept.
The clock will work again after new batteries are re-installed.

When the battery power is low, the
“ ”
symbol new the display will flash
advising you to replace the exhausted batteries for new ones.
The radio will turn off automatically when the battery power isn’t enough.

Mixing used and new batteries may cause damage to the radio and also display
the power capacity incorrectly.
5.
Remove the batteries from the battery compartment, if the radio is not
going to be used for a long period of time.
This will prevent the leakage of batteries that may can damage the radio.
