6. VENTILATION OF THE SAUNA
-
By design, ventilation of the sauna must be as efficient as possible so as to ensure a sufficient
supply of oxygen and fresh air. We recommend routing the fresh air close to the sauna heater
(but not closer than 50 cm).
-
The fresh air pipe must be equipped with an adjustable valve.
-
The exhaust air valve must be at least twice as large as the inlet air valve.
The exhaust air valve can be installed on the wall opposite to sauna heater, at least 20 cm
higher than the fresh air valve.
7. CONSTRUCTION OF THE SAUNA
-
The sauna space must have a good thermal insulation, especially on the ceiling through which
most of the heat is transferred. Because of the moisture, we recommend protecting the thermal
insulation of the sauna with some non-permeable material, such as, for instance aluminium
foil. The cladding must always be wood.
Figure 8.
8. SAFETY RAIL
If necessary, a safety rail should be built
around the sauna heater (Figure 8). We
recommend making this rail from wood.
The prescribed minimum clearances to
structures made from inflammable materials
shall be followed rigorously. Incorrect
installation constitutes a fire hazard.
Only one of the green LEDs remains lit (15 min.), but you wish to continue enjoying the sauna for
longer than this
1. Depress the SET button -> the green LED(s) start to flash.
2. Select the desired additional time by depressing the + button
3. Depress the SET button -> the heater will remain switched on for the time indicated by the red LEDs.
4. Depress the SET button -> the heater will remain switched on for the time indicated by the green LEDs.
5. Note! After the desired amount of time has been set, the green LEDs can be left flashing.
The heater will then automatically return to its normal operating mode in about 1 minute.
The preset time has not run out yet, but you wish to switch on the sauna heater immediately.
1. Depress the SET button -> the yellow LED(s) start(s) to flash.
2. Depress the - button as many times as necessary to make all the yellow LEDs go out -> the heater is
switched on and the On / Off LED at the top left corner glows red.
During the preset timing it glows green.
3. Depress the SET button -> the green LEDs flash.
4. Depress the SET button -> the red LEDs flash.
5. Depress the SET button -> the heater remains switched on normally for the time indicated by
the green LEDs.
