CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Before performing any maintenance or care work,
you should ensure that the air conditioner is
disconnected from power source.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
Your air conditioner is equipped with a filter
indicator light. When the indicator light (D) lights up,
the filter should be removed for cleaning.
Lift the control panel and take out the filter. Push
the air filter up so that it will be released from its
locked position. Pull out the filter. Use warm soapy
water to clean the filter. Dry thoroughly. Put the
filter back in its proper position. Push the middle
part of the control panel so that it locks properly.
Press the Reset key (H) to turn off the indicator
light (D).
REPLACEMENT OF THE CLEANING AIR FILTER
The air cleaning filter should be taken from the unit and
replaced once a year.
1. Take out the filter.
2. Replace the filter and fix securely in the frame.
3. Move the filter sliding back into its original position.
Note: follow the above sreps to carry out replacement
with activated carbon filters (if you have them).
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE UNIT
WITHOUT THE AIR FILTERS!
CLEANING AIR CONDITIONER
Use a soft cloth to wipe the air conditioner, or use a
vacuum cleaner.
Do not use hot water or volatile substances which
might damage the surface of the air conditioner.
WHEN THE SEASON FOR USE IS JUST START
Ensure the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner do
not have anything obstructing the air flow.
Ensure there is proper connection to the power
source.
PROTECT THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The air conditioner and the remote control should be
at least one metre away from the television, radios and
any other domestic electric appliances.
