REFRIGERANT LINES AND
CONNECTIONS
CAUTION
- On K 45 RCFA, the expansion kit is installed, to the indoor unit,
on the liquid line.
- The cassettes are designed to be connected to the outdoor
units using flare lines (refrigerant grade copper pipe fitted at
both ends with flare nuts and insulated over the full length).
PIPE PREPARATION
- Use refrigerant grade copper pipe with a diameter suited to
each model (see page 4).
- The gas pipe and liquid pipe must mandatorily be covered with
insulating material at least 6 mm thick.
- Fit the flare nuts on the ends of the pipes before flaring the
pipes.
- The separately insulated pipes and their fittings can then be
attached to the condensate drain and power cables with a clamp.
INSTALLATION OF REFRIGERANT
LINES
- Drill an 80 mm diameter hole through the wall for the crossing of
the lines between the outdoor unit and indoor unit .
INSTALLATION OF THE OUTDOOR
UNIT
- Minimum clearance to respect (in mm).
- Avoid recycling the air, even partially, between the air inlet and
discharge.
INSTALLATION ON THE FLOOR
- The outdoor unit is supposed to be fixed directly on the floor: 4
holes Ø 10 (see dimensional drawing).
- Waffle pad can also be placed under the feet to absorb vibra-
tion.
