The result obtained during their operation is usually divided into 3 phases:
1) After a few minutes, even though the effect is subjective, you will
perceive crisper air, similar to that present after a storm, in the mountains
or near the sea. Some people feel a freer and deeper breathing capacity.
For others, the effect can create a slight discomfort that tends to
disappear after a while.
2) After 20-30 minutes the presence of odours of various kinds including
those that are very unpleasant or persistent is gradually eliminated.
coming in from the outside to a room where the appliance has been
operating for at least 30 minutes, you will no longer be able to smell bad
smells from cooking, smoke, urine, mould, humidity, etc.
3) After a few hours the microbial load which includes viruses, bacteria,
spores, fungi and moulds begins to decrease. if the room remains
sealed, after 12/24/36 hours depending on its size, the quantity of
microorganisms in the air can be reduced by up to 99.5% compared to
when the appliance was first switched on.
Some models (Desk, Plus) are activated and switched off simply by
touching the centre of the front surface which always remains illuminated
when the appliance is powered.
in these versions the decorative light can be increased or decreased by
keeping the centre of the front plane pressed.
The intensity of the light does not change the level of operation of the
plasma generator and the fan.
Other models (ceiling, lift) are activated via an external switch. A leD
always indicates whether the appliance is operating.
The products require no maintenance
and are designed to
operate for at least 45,000 hours (approximately 5 years of continuous
use) without non-routine maintenance. However, it is necessary to clean
and dust the appliances frequently to prevent the inlet and outlet air vents
from becoming obstructed and thus making operation less efficient.
The supplied filters are not to be replaced except in case of evident of
dirt, deterioration or obstruction.
in particularly dusty, greasy or damp environments, it may be necessary to
remove the cover every 6/12 months and, with the appliance disconnected
from the electrical socket, clean the plasma generator with a cloth soaked
in alcohol, eliminating any dirt residues (Fig. D).
The appliance can operate from 0° to 40° and, if used appropriately, will
work correctly, without losing its efficiency, for several years.
