2. Hardware Installation
2.1 Connect the Router
Note
: Prior to connecting the router, be sure to power off your computer and the router.
Step 1
(Option1) Insert the 3G card into the card slot on the router facing up,
(Option2) or, connect your DSL/Cable modem to the WAN port on the router.
Step 2
Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to your computer’s network card and
connect the other end to the
LAN
port on the router.
Step 3
Power on the router by connecting one end of the supplied power adapter to the
power jack of the router and connecting the other end to an electrical outlet. All the
LEDs will flash ON and OFF as the Wireless WAN Mobile Broadband Router
performs
initialization and Internet connection processes. This will take a few minutes.
Step 4
Power on your computer.
Step 5
When complete, the following LEDs will illuminate green: Status, WAN, LAN,
and WiFi.
