Examine the
General
Tab settings

“Connect Using”
should have a check next to
“Modem – Standard 33600bps
Modem (COMx)”
•
“Phone number”
(The 1xRTT Access Number provided by the carrier)
•
Uncheck
"Use dialing rules"
and check
“Show icon in taskbar when
connected”
•
Select the
Configure
button
•
Maximum Speed: 115200
•
Check Enable hardware flow control
