Design Details
The PURE2 features a more pronounced
shark-nose, double 3D-cut top-sail with flat
seams and a single 3D-cut bottom-sail. A
special 2-line aerofoil in combination with a
detailed and ingenious inner construction
(with v-ribs, straps and cross supports)
ensures maximum stability.
VORTEX HOLES® at the tips and outside cell
trailing edges work to diffuse vortex drag,
further improving performance. A
redeveloped line layout (in some cases
spanning over 4 cells without line
attachment points) greatly reduces line
consumption.
Polyamide rods are strategically positioned
at A and B sections, with sufficient spacing
to allow you to pack more ergonomically.

How would you compare the PURE2 to the original PURE?
It is first important to recognise how the EN-D class has progressed in the last 3 years. Pilot
demands are now higher, and we have been mindful to shift the boundaries of performance,
whilst evolving stability for pilots already flying this class of glider.
With respect to the new PURE2, performance has increased dramatically, positioning this glider
well within the upper EN-D category.
The overall performance of two-line concept gliders is now in no way comparable to
conventional gliders or previous 3 line performance gliders. The PURE2 showcases greater
stability and further improves on the original PURE’s collapse resistant behaviour.
How can I learn more about the current EN-D certification classification process?
Most test manoeuvres give a very good impression about a glider’s behaviour, but in regard to
collapses within the EN-D category, this might not be the case. The PURE2 has achieved its
