The optical element is located partly in the inter-
changeable head and partly in the handpiece

Damage of the optical element from
incorrect cleaning
Residues of disinfectant will contaminate
the optical element

Clean the window of the optic using
the provided microfiber cloth, cotton
buds and alcohol
i
Clean the window of the optic itself of the in-
terchangeable head from outside using the
microfiber cloth with a drop of alcohol
i
If particles can still be seen on the image, dry
clean the interchangeable head from the in-
side with compressed air or with a cotton
bud

Unsuitable agents and methods can

Using non-approved chemicals may de-
grade the finish of the unit surface

agents specified or approved by Air

Only clean the surface of the camera

Do not use any aggressive or abrasive
cleaning agents

Only use disinfectant wipes to clean
the camera

Do not clean the camera by submerg-
ing in or spraying with disinfectant

Do not put the camera in an autoclave
The disposable protective cover must be
used for only one patient and disposed of
properly in accordance with locale code
Unplug camera components before per-
forming cleaning

Wipe the surface of the camera with an EPA
registered surface dinsinfectant
