5 - PROBLEMS, POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
The device
cannot be
switched on
Ensure the power cord (2) is correctly plugged into the socket. Ensure
the ON/OFF switch (3) is in the position «I».
The nebuliser
functions poorly
or not at all
Ensure that the connecting tube (14) is correctly connected at both
ends. Ensure the connecting tube is not squashed, bent, dirty or
blocked. If necessary, replace with a new one. Ensure the nebuliser is
correctly assembled. Ensure the required medication has been added
and in the appropriate quantity. Ensure that the small hole of the
nebulizer’s lower body (9) is not clogged.
If you have failed to solve the problem after performing the above checks and the device still does
not work, have it checked by an authorized service centre.
6 - TECHNICAL DATA

MMAD* (Graph 1)
2,94 μm
* measures performed as indicated in UNI EN 13544-1:2009
Graph 1:
The y-axis of the graphs represents the
percentage of volume of atomised solution
with sizes lower than the corresponding
dimensional value expressed in μm on the
x-axis.
50% by volume of the atomised particles is less
than the MMAD (Median Mass Aerodynamic
Diameter). This value is indicative of the
Nebuliser’s ability to produce particles suitable
for a specific therapeutic treatment.
The shown MMAD value has been measured
with a cascade impactor NGI Next Generation
Impactor
