15.
REPLACING
THE
BATTERY
When
the
battery
in
the
Pager
is
running
low
the
battery
icon
will
appear
in
the
bottom
of
the
display.
The
display
will
show
LOW
BATTERY
when
a
button
is
pressed
and
an
alert
will
sound
every
few
minutes.
The
Pager
will
continue
to
function
for
a
short
period
but
always
arrange
to
replace
its
battery
as
soon
as
possible
after
the
low
battery
warning.
On
the
rear
face
of
the
Pager
as
shown
below;
push
the
locking
tab
upwards
and
slide
the
battery
cover
to
the
right
to
remove
the
battery…
Used
batteries
must
not
be
disposed
of
in
domestic
waste.
Do
not
incinerate
or
mutilate
used
batteries,
the
chemicals
released
are
corrosive
and
my
cause
injury
to
eyes
or
skin
and
may
be
toxic
if
inhaled.
Only
replace
with
Manufacturer
Approved
battery
type:
Energizer
Industrial
1.5V
AA
(LR6)
Alkaline
Replacement
batteries
are
available
from
Aidcall;
order

Observe
the
battery
polarity
marking
inside
the
battery
compartment.
Take
care
not
to
damage
the
battery
contacts
when
removing
or
inserting
batteries.
Refit
the
battery
compartment
cover
and
power
‐
up
as
described
in
section
6.
