GETTING
STARTED
POWER
ON
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
and
fit
1
x
AA
battery
–
note
the
polarity
symbol
inside
case.
Press
and
hold
the
READ
key
for
2
seconds
–
the
Pager
will
beep
4
times
and
display
Aid
Call
.
The
Pager
will
then
display
the
STANDBY
SCREEN
(i.e.
the
date
and
time
as
pictured
above).
After
a
short
time
the
display
will
go
blank
to
preserve
battery
power.
Only
the
Pager
ON
icon
will
remain
lit
in
the
bottom
left
hand
corner
of
the
display.
Press
any
key
to
return
to
the
STANDBY
SCREEN
.
POWER
OFF
Press
any
key
to
go
to
the
STANDBY
SCREEN
.
Press
and
hold
the
ESCAPE
key
for
2
seconds
to
display
the
SETTINGS
menu
Use
the
or
previous/next
keys
to
select
the
TURN
OFF
screen.
Press
the
READ
key
and
the
screen
will
show
YES
,
press
READ
again
to
confirm.
BACKLIGHT
ON/OFF
Press
any
key
to
go
to
the
STANDBY
SCREEN
.
Press
and
hold
the
READ
key
until
the
backlight
illuminates
Press
and
hold
the
READ
key
again
to
turn
the
backlight
off.
The
backlight
will
go
off
automatically
when
the
STANDBY
SCREEN
goes
blank
(approx.
30
seconds).
Escape
Key
(back
to
previous
menu)
