2 Product description
2.1
General information
AHT products comply with EU Directive 2011/65/EU
(RoHS2) for the prevention of hazardous substances
in electrical and electronic devices and EU
regulation 1907/2006 (REACH) on the registration,
evaluation and approval of chemicals.
In the product design, the manufacturer has
considered the environmental and disposal-
friendliness of the device, in particular, for the
refrigerant propane (R-290) and the propellant
pentane (for the insulating foam). Propane does not
have any ozone depletion potential (ODP) and only
a very low greenhouse potential (GWP) of 3.
The refrigerant R-134a is recorded in the Kyoto
Protocol. It does not have any ozone depletion
potential (ODP) and has a greenhouse potential
(GWP) of 1430.

2.2.1
Power rating plate and serial number
When handling the device, the information on the
"power rating plate" must be observed. This is found
on a sticker at the top right inside of the device cover
and contains important technical data about
- device name and device type,
- serial number,
- Climate class (see
→
Chapter 2.3),
- Rated voltage and frequency,
- rated current and rated consumption,
- Refrigerant and amount used,
- Net content,
- Date of manufacture,
- Test mark,
- Technical data for the interior lighting (optional),
- and other technical data.
2.3 Intended use
The devices are only suitable for packaged,
refrigerated food products.
NOTICE
•
