Remove condensation from glass doors.
► Check for puddle formation in front of and below the device.
►
Remove spilled defrosted water/fluids/condensation immediately.

Automatic closing of the night blind. Hands can be jammed.
►
When turning the market light control voltage off/on again, keep your hands away from the
night blind.
•
Closing the glass doors. Hands (body parts) can be pinched at the strip side or the handle side.
►
During closing, do not grip the opening gap, especially on the strip side.
► When closing, pay attention to other people.
Safety in the handling of glass doors and glass elements
CAUTION
•
Glass breakage hazard. Cutting injuries to the body.
►
Do not install devices with multi-pane insulating glass at altitudes above 2,000 m.
Multipane insulating glass can break due to air pressure differences.
►
With clear passageways take note of opened glass doors.
►
Do not apply a load onto the glass doors.
► Do not drive the shopping cart/roller container/pallet truck into open or closed glass doors.
►Carefully drive into the device with the
roller container/pallet truck.
► Bring the roller container/pallet truck to a standstill before hitting the dev
ice.
►
Check for damage (crack, fissure, breakage) of the glass elements. In the event of
damage, contact the maintenance service immediately (see
→
Chapter 10.4).

“ROLL-IN” devices: Hinges on glass doors must be fixed and mounted with a cover
(see
→
Chapter 9 Fig. 9).
•
Disposal of broken glass. Cutting injuries to hands.
►
Wear protective gloves to remove splintered glass parts and the possibly damaged goods.
►
Remove all splintered glass parts and damaged goods carefully and completely.
Dispose of splintered glass parts in an environmentally friendly manner.
