Mowing

Check safety circuit function - Only operate
the machine if safety circuit works!
Start engine.
Wear individual protective ear plugs and solid
shoes.
Remove the knife guard
Slowly move the mowing drive clutch lever (B/4) to
position ”mowing” and pull the throttle; the knife starts
operating.
Slightly pull the transmission clutch lever (B/2), un-
lock the pawl (B/3) and release it slowly; the machine
moves forward in mowing operation.
After operation or in the event of blockages:
l
Release the transmission clutch lever and lock the pawl;
the mower will stop but the knife continues operating. This
will remove any blockages from the cutter bar
l
Move the mowing drive clutch lever (B/4) to ”0”
l
Shut off the engine
l
Attach the knife guard

If cleaning becomes necessary during work,
shut off the engine and remove the spark
plug connector for safety reasons.

Keep out of the mower’s danger zone
during starts and operation.
Mowing on Slopes
W
To prevent the grassland mower from sliding
on slopes make sure it is secured by another
person using a bar or a rope. This person must
stay at a higher position than the vehicle and at a
safe distance from the attachment at work.
If possible, always work across the slope.

For operation on banks,
always turn machine
towards the slope!
