STEP 2:
(SEE FIGURE 2)
• Measure the distances L, H and W.
L = distance from center of lower holes in frame
bracket to front of tractor frame.
H = distance to center of hole in frame bracket that is
closest to being 6" above ground level.
W = distance between the inside of the frame brackets.
• Proceed to step 4.

STEP 3:
(SEE FIGURE 3)
• Measure the distances L, H and W.
L = distance from center of hole in deck suspension
bracket to front of tractor frame.
H = distance from center of hole in deck suspension
bracket to ground level.
W = inside distance between the deck suspension
brackets.
USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS IF YOUR
TRACTOR HAS TWO FRONT BRACKETS
FOR ATTACHING THE MOWER DECK
ATTENTION:
Go back to step 1 if your tractor has only one
front bracket for attaching the mower deck.

STEP 4:
(SEE FIGURE 4)
Refer to page 6 for examples of how to attach the Hanger
Brackets to some other tractor models.
• Select the pair of slots in the top of the Thrust Channel
that will provide enough clearance between the blade
and the front of the tractor while minimizing overhang.
Select the pair of slots based on distance "L" measured
in step 2 or step 3.
L = 5" or less
Attach to the front pair of slots.
L = 5" to 7"
Attach to the middle pair of slots.
L = 7" to 9"
Attach to the rear pair of slots.
• Arrange the Hanger Brackets with the short Hanger
Bracket on the inside of the long Hanger Bracket and
place them on top of the Thrust Channel. If distance
"H",
measured in step 2 or 3, is less than 6", point the
brackets down. If distance
"H"
is more than 6", point the
brackets up.
• Adjust the width of the Hanger Brackets to just slightly
less than distance "W" measured in step 2 or 3. Center
the brackets on the Thrust Channel and attach them
using two 3/8" x 1-1/4" carriage bolts and 3/8" nylock
nuts.
•
Tighten the nuts
and then make sure the hanger
brackets fit between the deck suspension brackets or
frame bracekts on the tractor.
•
Proceed to step 5 on page 7.
