Ensure the safe and proper performance of your product. These parts are
available in your stores. Use of any other equipment or accessories may pose a
danger of injury to the user, damage to the device and of making the warranty
void.
Clean the device thoroughly, paying special attention to the fuel tank, the area
around it and the air filter.
When refueling, always stop the engine and make sure it has cooled down.
Never refuel the device while the engine is running or while it is still hot. In
case there is a gasoline or fuel leak, make sure to wipe it off completely and
remove the wiping cloth before starting the engine.
Keep the distance of at least 15 meters (50 feet) between yourself and other
operators or observers.
When approaching the device operator, take care to attract their attention first
and make sure that they have stopped the engine. Be careful not to startle the
operator because that may result in a dangerous situation.
Never touch the line head while the engine is working. If you need to adjust the
shield or the line head, always stop the engine and make sure that the line head
has stopped moving.
The engine must be off when you are transporting the device between the
working areas.
Be careful not to hit the line head against rocks or the ground. Rough operation
will shorten the life of the device and create a dangerous environment for you
and persons in your vicinity.
Pay attention to parts loosening and parts overheating. If there is any abnormal
feature in the device, stop work immediately and examine the device
thoroughly. If necessary, take the device to an authorized service shop to be
serviced. Never continue working with the device which does not work
properly.
When starting the engine or in the course of operation, never touch the hot
parts such as the exhaust, high-voltage cable or spark plug.
After stopping the engine, the exhaust is still hot. Do not place the device in
places where there are flammable materials (dry grass etc.), flammable gases or
flammable liquids.
Take special care when working in the rain or immediately after the rain
because the ground may be slippery.
If you slip or fall to the ground or into a hole, release the throttle lever
immediately.
Make sure that you do not drop the device or hit an obstruction.
